Scene: The sun is slowly setting in the rough northern desert of the great Sahara. A dark silhouette of a man caring a women in his arms, as the group from the convoy awaits them to return. To greet the new welcomed addition to their convey, to the outer laying villages. As Majeed walks slowly back to the convey fallowed by the horse in toe. Majeed begins to reflect on the fact of how odd it was to find this woman in her condition. She was fine in fact more then fine, that’s what seemed so odd. No tracks in the sand, no evidents of how she got here. She shows no signs of injury or sun exposure, more then that her behavior seemed odd as well. Majeed adjusts the young women in his arms as the weight of her begins to become self evident.
Amjad as impatient as he sometimes can be, walks toward Majeed as he gets closer to the convey. To rush him along or help as best he can. Now coming closer he signals the horse who begins a slow trot to catch up with Amjad. Amjad brings the horse to moor to a wagon and walks back to Majeed again. Amjad: how could such a women survive out here was there any sign of how long she was here, is she hurt in anyway. Majeed: No no she’s ok.
Amjad signals to Kusana, to come tend to the girl. A tall well figured women, lumbers off the largest of the wagons, on the opposite side of the cart and walks around while resetting her long skirt ruffled from sitting so long. Grabs a blanket from a trunk, and walks continuing around the cart to meet the group. Majeed slinks the half asleep, seemingly fragile girl from his arms to Kusana. Kusana gently stands the girl as if knowing this is the first time she has ever stood on her feet, and begins to coddle her to get her to walk and join Kusana on the wagon with her. Majeed and Amjad settle their affairs with the straps for the horse and lose ends from unpacking in wagon of the convey to begin again on their trek towards the nearest settlement. Amjad troubled with how clear the stars in the sky are, worries that another light wind storm could start again before they could get to the nearest village. Amjad looks back at the girl concerned with her welfare, only to look back around to veer the wagon ox to a northwest direction towards a downward slop in the vista dunes.
